About Honest Calculators

Honest Calculators is an independent site of free calculators for money, math and everyday life.

We think a calculator should earn your trust, not just hand you a number. That's why every page explains the formula, works through an example, states its assumptions and links to its sources — so you can check the answer, or work it out by hand next time.

There's no sign-up, and your numbers stay in your browser. See how we calculate for details on testing and reviews.

Spotted a mistake or want a calculator we don't have yet? We'd like to hear from you.
